Registration

There are two different ways teachers can register for the FOR-PD online course:

  1. Open Enrollment - Open Enrollment occurs three times a year. The dates for Open Enrollment are advertised on our website and in our monthly publications. Teachers must complete and submit the online registration form provided on the FOR-PD website during the Open Enrollment registration period. FOR-PD collects this data and then creates sections based on the numbers of teachers enrolling. This option is best for smaller districts that may not have enough teachers to open a district section.

  2. District Registration - Districts can register sections of teachers from their county. For more information on guidelines and procedures for registration, please refer to our District Registration page.

Completion Information

At the end of each semester, districts receive a course completion document. This document lists all teachers, from that district, that have successfully completed the course for that semester. Districts receive course completion information approximately four weeks after the course closes. The advertised course completion date indicates when participants are expected to be done with the course. Facilitators have two weeks after this course closing date to complete grading and notify FOR-PD with completion information. FOR-PD must then go into the course and capture student data. Once this data has been processed, the district receives each participant's completion status.

FOR-PD Facilitator Training

We encourage districts to invite persons to become certified FOR-PD Facilitators. This would enable a district to have a cadre of trainers available to facilitate. Facilitator criteria and applications are available online. The FOR-PD Facilitator Certification and Training Course will be offered multiple times throughout the year. Registration dates for this training are posted in all publications and on the FOR-PD website. For more information on training facilitators in your district, please contact our Facilitator Support Specialist at (407) 207-7295 or forpdfac@mail.ucf.edu.
