FOR-PD Registration

Registration begins on June 2, 2008 at 9 am EST and will last until August 18, 2008 at 5 pm EST.

Welcome to FOR-PD’s registration page. Please read the following information carefully before registering for the FOR-PD course.

The FOR-PD course consists of 14 lessons that are completed over a 14-week period. Each course is assigned an online facilitator whose responsibility it is to guide you through this course. Each lesson consists of online text, online resources, a discussion assignment, a lesson quiz, and an online literacy log. It is important that participants follow the lesson schedule provided by FOR-PD. For more specific information about the course, please review the course information section of our website.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. We must have a complete and accurate registration file in order to place you in a course. Incomplete registration forms will not be accepted. When completing the registration form, please make sure the contact information you provide is correct. For example, if you do not normally check your school email, do not use that address as your primary email. Many of our facilitators like to have contact phone numbers, so please make sure that the phone number you provide is a phone number where you can easily be accessed.

Registration begins on June 2, 2008 at 9 am EST and will last until August 18, 2008 at 5 pm EST. Once you have registered for the FOR-PD course, you will receive three emails from our office. The first email will be a confirmation message, letting you know that we have received your registration form. The second email will be sent as a reminder that you have registered for the FOR-PD course. This is typically emailed two-weeks prior to the course beginning.

The fall courses begin on September 8, 2008 and end on December 15, 2008. On the day that the course begins, you will receive another email from our office by 5 pm EST. This third email contains important information about the FOR-PD course and will provide you with your login information. Please keep this email when you receive it, as it contains useful information needed for the duration of the course and after the course ends.
