FOR-PD Interview with Dr. Linda Labbo
Introduction: Dr.
Linda Labbo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Reading at the University
of Georgia. Her interests include early literacy, computers, diversity, and
content area literacy for elementary children. Dr. Labbo has conducted research
in computer-related literacy development and culturally responsive curriculum
and instruction. She has served as the Principal Investigator for several technology-related
research and development projects funded through the National Reading Research
Center by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement, U.S. Office of
Education. Dr. Labbo's interview with FOR-PD focuses on literacy and technology
and how technology can be used to enhance literacy acquisition.
